X5 air suspension sagging overnight on one side only, is this definitely a strut issue

  • Forum Backlinks

Woke up this morning to find my 2017 X5 sitting noticeably lower on the rear driver side and my heart just sank because I literally just had the transmission serviced last month and thought I was done with big bills for a while. The weird thing is it pumps right back up when I start the engine and stays level the whole time I'm driving around, no warning lights on the dash or anything. I've been doing some reading and it seems like it could be a leaky air spring or maybe just a valve block thing, but I honestly don't have the patience to play parts roulette and throw money at guesses. My last mechanic was okay for oil changes but I wouldn't trust him with air suspension diagnostics to be honest. If anyone's had this same symptom and found a BMW Garage here that actually diagnosed it properly without trying to sell you a whole new system, I'd be grateful for a nudge in the right direction. Really hoping it's not the compressor on its way out too since I've heard those can fail from overworking to compensate for a leak.

These devices improve hygiene, control odor, and maintain a cleaner environment for indoor cats. Regular maintenance and correct setup ensure long-term efficiency and reliable performance. The litter robot 4 is one of the most advanced versions in this category.
