Hardy kiwi, Actinidia arguta, has smaller, smooth skinned fruits that can be consumed whole and it less sensitive to colder temperatures. The type to use varies depending on your climate, the space that you have and whether you want traditional fuzzy kiwis or sweeter bite-sized ones.
