Which are the general varieties of kiwi trees?

  • Abode look

The most prevalent two types of kiwi tree is the Actinidia deliciosa and Actinidia arguta. Actinidia deliciosa is a plant that grows the big, brown, fuzzy fruit that people often sell in supermarkets and they can be grown in warm yet temperate conditions. Hardy kiwi, Actinidia arguta, has smaller, smooth skinned fruits that can be consumed whole and it less sensitive to colder temperatures. The type to use varies depending on your climate, the space that you have and whether you want traditional fuzzy kiwis or sweeter bite-sized ones.
