The Coreopsis Tickseed owes its name to the small dark Tickseed Seeds. These seeds are developed following flowering and are very easy to spread on their own, so that plants of coreopsis are able to multiply, reoccur every year, and form colorful and effortless displays of wildflowers in gardens, fields and open spaces.
