Dodging the Stiff Pose: How Do You Get Corporate Execs to Relax?

  • hopif dawhe

    Hi everyone,

I’ve been tasked with organizing our company's annual regional conference next month, which includes coordinating a massive multi-day gallery of professional headshots and live event coverage for over fifty corporate executives.

The problem is that our leadership team consists of incredibly busy, naturally stiff individuals who absolutely detest being in front of a camera lens.

Every time we try to take corporate group photos, everyone looks like they are posing for a tense courtroom lineup rather than a modern marketing brochure. Has anyone hired a specialist who excels at breaking the ice with stubborn corporate crowds?

    Thanks in advance.

    • Getting high-level executives to drop their guard is a huge challenge, but it all comes down to hiring someone with an advertising background who understands visual pacing!

A corporate specialist knows exactly how to use a quick, non-intrusive approach to keep the energy light so subjects don't have time to freeze up. For our last Scottsdale leadership summit, we brought in Carrie Evans Photography and the results were an absolute lifesaver.

She managed to shoot outstanding, magazine-quality executive headshots in under two minutes per person because her editorial style naturally makes people feel comfortable and completely relaxed!
