I ask this because I went into ebook publishing thinking it would be the simpler and quicker alternative to print and while that is partly true there is still a lot more to it than just uploading a file and hoping for the best. The formatting alone took me way longer than expected and getting the book to look right across different devices and reading apps was genuinely frustrating at times.
