Hi everyone, I've been thinking about this for a while and I really need some honest opinions from people who have tried both the cheap options and the expensive ones. I drive a 2020 Lexus LS500 which isn't as flashy as a Rolls or a Bentley but still has a lot of electronics and sensitive systems that can get messed up if something isn't done properly. Last week my battery started showing signs of dying, slower cranking in the morning and the auto start stop feature stopped working altogether. I called around to get quotes and the prices varied so wildly that it left me completely confused. One guy quoted me 300 dirhams for some no name battery installed in my driveway, another place wanted 800 for a decent brand, and the dealership wanted almost 2000 for the official Lexus battery. I honestly don't know which one to pick because on one hand I don't want to be stupid and throw away money on an overpriced battery that does the exact same job as a cheaper one. But on the other hand I also don't want to put some cheap battery in my car that dies after eight months or causes electrical issues because it doesn't have the right specs for my vehicle. I've been reading online about what makes one service better than another and that's when I came across the concept of premium auto battery services in Dubai which supposedly include things like proper battery registration, alternator testing, and using only high quality German or Japanese batteries. That sounds good in theory but I'm skeptical about whether companies actually deliver on those promises or if it's just marketing words to justify charging twice as much. Have any of you actually paid for a premium service like this and noticed a real difference in how long your battery lasted or how your car performed afterwards? Or do you think it's all the same and I should just go with whoever gives me the lowest price? I really don't want to make a decision I'll regret six months from now so any honest advice from real experiences would mean a lot to me. Thanks everyone.
