I’m currently working on a project where I need to intentionally corrupt a file to test how software handles errors and recovery. I came across this tool and it seems like an easy way to corrupt a file without complicated steps.

Has anyone here tried using it in real scenarios? I’m particularly interested in whether it maintains file format integrity while still making the file unreadable. Also, are there any risks involved when using online tools like this to corrupt a file? Would love to hear your experiences or alternative methods.
