I’ve been working on a project recently that involves migrating some older local Punjabi language content into a modern web app. One of the biggest hurdles was dealing with legacy Punjabi fonts like AnmolLipi and Asees. If you've ever dealt with these, you know they don't play well with SEO or modern mobile browsers because they aren't Unicode-based.
I spent some time looking for a clean, browser-based solution that doesn't require installing bulky software or plugins. I found this Anmol to Unicode converter which also functions as an Asees to Unicode converter, and it’s been a huge time-saver for my data entry phase.
It handles the conversion locally in the browser, so it's quite fast. Thought I’d share it here in case any of you are building localized sites or handling regional language databases. Curiously, has anyone else found better ways to automate this for large SQL dumps, or is a manual converter like this still the safest bet for accuracy?"
