How are you estimating salary after 8th Pay Commission in India?

I was trying to estimate my salary after the 8th Pay Commission and initially used Excel, but it became messy with different assumptions.
Then I found an 8th CPC salary calculator online which made things easier to visualize.

Would be great if someone here can confirm what fitment factor you are expecting — 2.5x or higher?

You can calculate it manually, but it takes time because you have to consider fitment factor, DA, and pay level.

I usually use an online 8th CPC calculator to get a quick estimate. It’s much easier to compare different scenarios.
