How Are You Using TikTok for Traffic or Branding in 2025?

  • Avasin Clair

    Hey everyone,

I’ve been noticing more creators and brands shifting serious focus to TikTok this year—some even saying it’s outperforming Instagram and YouTube in certain niches. I’m curious how people here are leveraging it, especially those of you working on growth strategies, product launches, or building personal brands.

Are you finding TikTok useful for driving traffic to your sites or products? Or is it more of a brand visibility tool for you? Also wondering how you're dealing with its unpredictable algorithm—are you focusing on trends, storytelling, value content, or something else entirely?

    • Hey! Since no one replied yet, I thought I’d share some insights from my own experience.

TikTok has actually been surprisingly useful for both traffic and visibility. I’ve experimented with a few different strategies—some trend-based, others more focused on value-driven content like short tutorials and tips—and honestly, consistency seems to be the key more than anything. The algorithm can feel random at times, but content that gets straight to the point and hooks viewers in the first 2–3 seconds usually performs better for me.

Also, for those who are into testing modded or advanced versions of the app, I recently came across ProTikTok18 which offers an alternative version called TikTok 18. It’s got some added features that aren’t available in the regular app, though of course, caution is always advised when trying unofficial versions.

Anyway, would love to hear if others have tried similar approaches or tools. Let’s get the conversation going!

    • Hey Avasin, great post — I’ve been noticing the same thing lately. TikTok’s definitely turned into a serious tool for visibility and traffic if you use it strategically.

I mostly use it to drive awareness and get people to check out my projects through short, story-style clips. Instead of hard selling, I focus on quick insights or behind-the-scenes snippets — those tend to feel more natural and perform better. Consistency really is key, like you mentioned. Once I started posting regularly (about 4–5 times a week), I noticed my views and engagement became much more stable.

I’ve also been testing some related tools outside of TikTok to keep my audience looped in — for example, the Scarlet iOS App Store, which allows users to install modded or third-party apps directly on iPhones without jailbreak. It’s pretty handy for creators who share alternative apps or tutorials since it gives followers more flexibility when trying new tools.

Curious though — how are you tracking conversions from TikTok? Are you using any link-in-bio analytics or UTM tracking to see which videos actually drive clicks? That’s something I’m still refining in my setup.
